Tornado Warnings and Damage in Oklahoma
Deadly Tornado Rips Through Osage County
A tornado warning has been issued for northeastern Oklahoma, including Tahlequah, Eldon, Westville, and Watts.
At least one person was killed and several others were injured after a tornado ripped through Barnsdall, Oklahoma on Monday night.
Additional Tornadoes and Warnings
A rapidly strengthening line of storms on Thursday evening produced several brief tornadoes and prompted warnings for two more south.
The tornado watch area extends approximately 120 statute miles north and south of a line from 30 miles west of Brownwood, Texas to 50 miles west-northwest of Norman, Oklahoma.
Damage in Osage County
At least two tornadoes touched down in northeastern Oklahoma on Monday night, causing damage in parts of Osage County, according to local authorities.
